"Watching a child struggle at home or school is difficult and it is only natural to want to help. But what happens when you are not sure how to help?
Due to lack of consistency, time constraints, personality temperaments, and fragmentation of services parents, teachers, and professionals find it challenging to work together effectively as a team. I can help alleviate some of the anxiety caused by these types of questions and challenges.
Intervention for you and your child can occur at home, school, or in the community to facilitate generalization of skills or within a clinical setting. Training for parents, caregivers, and teachers occurs through modeling, coaching, education, and/or homework. Goals and objectives are developmentally appropriate and identified in a team-like fashion with families.
If your child is struggling either at home or at school, begin now and take action. The amount of learning opportunities we can create are endless so let's take your next steps together!"
